This card was made for a sketch challenge with the optional theme "Get Well". Since I am a "Card Angel" for chemotherapy patients, "Thinking of You is often more appropriate.
All the pattern paper used for this card is from the coordinated Stampin' Up! (SU) "Magnolia Lane" Designer Series Paper (DSP). The solid card base and sentiment banner is SU Petal Pink cardstock which is one of the coordinated colors in the DSP.
When I saw the sketch's banner elements, I knew right away I wanted to use my new SU "Banners Pick-A-Punch" which lets you choose between "inny" and "outy" banner ends anywhere from 1/2" to 1" wide.
The scalloped edge matting behind the pink striped paper is the same pink cardstock. It was punched with a Scalloped Dotted Border punch to add femininity to the card. The trick for this punch is to measure 3/8" extra on your paper you are going to punch to allow for the "tail".
All elements of the card were glued expect for the matted sentiment, which has mini foam dots behind it to add depth.
I am rating the difficulty level for this card as a "2" out of a possible "5".
