Today we celebrate the work of Leslie Springer. I had so much fun looking through her beautiful gallery. I chose this beautiful winter pine card to case: Christmas#2-2015-ls by lesliespringer at Splitcoaststampers
I used a pretty, frosty blue DSP. Die cut and dry embossed 3 pine cones from the scraps and colored them with taupe ink. Die cut 3 pine cones out of the DSP and inlaid with the colored cones. Die cut the sentiment and assembled the pieces onto a navy base. Covered pine needles with Stickles.
Changed everything except the basic design.
BTW, pretty proud of myself - I have used over 20 pieces of my extreme hoard of DSP papers this year.
Congratulations on your week in the spotlight, Leslie!

Perfect die cut sentiment for your card .... I'll bet this is so sparkly and beautiful in real life! Congratulations on using so much of your supply of designer paper .... I am attempting to do the same thing!

Priscilla, I wish I could see this card in person. I can only imagine how beautiful it is. I love the stickles on the branches and your embossed pinecones.

This is beautiful, Priscilla! I love your snowy bg w/ the frosty pine cones on it. Great job on using the dp. I wish I could make myself use the stuff I bought because it was so pretty. And it's just so pretty, I can't use it, lol. It's a conundrum.
