FS720 - This weeks incredible featured stamper is Leslie Springer aka lesliespringer. She has an amazing gallery full of inspiration. I found this super cute CARD
USEIT2020 - Arrows
When I saw the boat I immediately thought of this cute new boat from DRS Designs.
I stamped this boat and then masked it. I then stamped the calendar behind it and the Happy Retirement sentiment.
Next I colored the image and added a red box and a number. I finished with some stickles to the water and the wood arrows.
The base is white pigment ink through a wave stencil.
Thank you for stopping by for a look at my card. I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards. Thank you for looking!

This is so pretty! I love your sailing boat, colored perfectly, and the calender and ocean bg is brilliant!

Lisa, this is a great case of Leslie's card. I love how you masked off the boat to stamp the calendar. The coloring on the boat is beautiful. What a great retirement card.

I have never thought of using a calendar image and highlighting a specific day. That is really neat.
Oh and I must say I am a proud mom, you picked a card my son made when he was 8 years old ( he loved stamping with me, good memories). He loved that stamp set. Now he is 21 years old and going into the Army January 4th!!
