I'm not a naturally funny person. I don't tell jokes, partly because I don't remember them. I like a dry sense of humor or a pun, although I do laugh out loud at funny stuff. I did this morning before 7 am because my sister in law texted that they thought their African grey parrot Opie had learned a new, annoying sound but it was their smoke alarm needing a new battery. Now that was funny.
So I went to Pinterest to look for funny Christmas cards. There are a ton, mostly Covid related, of course. But then I saw this one: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/155303887251493839/
and I thought that it was funny and cute.
This is also for the MIX-stencil embossing. I used the same berry and leaf stencil for the Co'ordinations background and the tea cup. Used a real tea bag with some stamping, mounted some music paper on cardstock and cut some trees, sponged said trees with some Distress old paper, direct to paper on the cup with Distress twisted citron, used some Delicata gold on the cup and background (which barely shows up) and added some German scrap up in the corner. Oh Tannenbaum is a German carol, after all. I think I'll send this to someone who likes tea and tuck a tea bag inside.

Those smoke alarm battery noises are so infrequent that they're not immediately recognisable, for sure. That little scrap Santa is sweet! That's something we always got in our Christmas stockings. But my favourite thing is those sweet music trees.

wit tis a mysterious thang! I agree with you regarding funny.
You've set a Tea Table fit for the Queen! All the wonderful trinkets required many scrolls back up to catch each one. Of course the sheet music trees are my fav. Another fun was had in the making of this, bfnm.

Great Christmas card and now I'll probably be singing this song with tea in place of tree for months. I love the sheet music trees and the little Santa in the corner is sweet!
