Here is my card for the MIX today; Stencil Embossing.
Such a simple, easy way to get more mileage from your stencils.
I ran my white cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the snowflake in place to emboss. I inked with some Distress Oxides by just dragging the ink pad over the raised side. Next, I embossed some lines to look like barnboard and rubbed some black over that.
I added some white paint splatters and also dragged a bit of white paint to lighten it all up.

Oh, isn't that like a recent challenge that I'm too tired to remember, Gina K's faux something wood. I'll have to check my gallery, it might have been one of Lyn's TLCs. It's beautiful, and the paint spatter and enamel centre to the snowflake are great finishing touches.
