It's my dad's birthday tomorrow and I've been stumped on what to make for his card. I always do golf, so I didn't want to do golf again. Then I remembered that I had this little plastic record that I wanted to use on a card. I cut a label for the plastic record and stamped the big one. I used two different green polka dot papers for Toni's "Lots of Dots" challenge. Then I realized everything was too big, so it all kind of hangs off the card. On the inside I stamped a MFT sentiment "You're an oldie but goodie" because I grew up listening to "the oldies" with my dad.

I love that stamp set too and it seems perfect for your Dad's card. I love that it evokes your childhood memories of listening to the radio with your Dad. I hope it brings him similar warm and loving memories. Great card!

What a great masculine card this is, mf! fab for your Dad's birthday. Love the records you added to all the dots (they are BIG dots, aren't they?)

Aw, what a great sentiment both inside and out, Jen. And what a super masculine card. That little plastic disc is a cute embellishment. The big one is making my eyes go dizzy - but it reminds me of something my dad had on his wall, mounted on a motor so it would go round and round. I feel maybe as it sped up it changed from colour to black and white - I must ask my brother.
