This wasn't difficult, just time consuming, hence the '3'. This is for today's CC-purple posy, cinnamon cider, and real red. Dessert is gingerbread. All more or less present and accounted for!
I wanted to include the last host challenge I have to do: Kelly's twine inlay. I feel like this card turned out to be an ugly sweater meets art creation, that's why I gave it that title. I watercolored the background with two Lumin'art paints, one of which is called cinnamon and added a little SU real red, watered down and painted. I cut the decorative circle for the twine and chose some red striped, neutral jute and striped twine and some hand dyed neutral, using highland heather and petal pink to make a pinky purple. It was hard to make it light enough but I guess it works. At least there is something 'purply' in there. I placed the twine on the diagonal because I knew I wouldn't be able to create straight across. I had to cut a frame from the Waffle Flower A2 dies, watercolored with the cinnamon paint, because I got a little too close to edges and had sticky tape where it shouldn't have been. Put the dies back in the circle, choosing white for the fancy part, WOS on top. Heat embossed the two gingerbread people and added some twine to their necks. The finishing touch is some tiny glue spots with real cinnamon stuck on top. I might add more, I like how it looks and smells.

This is funny, as I was thinking of this technique a few days ago. I love your gingerbread men!!
