I created the background panel during Lydia Fiedler's recent virtual retreat. I used Distress Oxide inks, and then "stamped" with a jar & water. It has been lying around ever since, and I thought it would be perfect for this challenge.
After die cutting the panel with a rectangle die, I die cut the joy. I then traced the outline of the joy on another piece of white cardstock I'd cut with the same rectangle die. I added my twine, so it covered the pencil lines. Finally, I mounted the ink-blended panel over the twine panel with foam tape, adding glue to the parts that went over the twine, and adhered that to my card base.
I heat embossed the first part of my greeting onto a strip of red cardstock, adhered it to my card front, & that finished this card.
