I knew I wanted to make a pop-up book card, a fun technique I haven't made in too long, so by the time I'd made a couple of mistakes after a long day yesterday, I was rapidly reducing my options for what card to use on the inside. I wanted to use the ef that came with the magazine stamps which I used inside on the card front, but despite the fact that I only used it about two weeks ago and thought that I had put it where it belonged, two in depth searches through my ef box and one deep tidy of my desk failed to turn it up. So it was back to the drawing board there...I stamped the bookshelves, and first time ever, decided to leave them uncoloured. I added Flopsey, coloured and fussy-cut, and a suitable sentiment.

luv how you left your background black & white - your sentiment and bunny really pop!! i feel for you on all the sideways directions making your card haha. some times one wonders why we think we can do this lol but the end result was definitely worth all the frustration. i really luv your card!

What a great bg stamp of book and I'm glad you left them B&W. I love how your personalized the stack of books in the corner. I can imagine all of those would be Flopsie's favorites. The scene you created is so fun and warm and cozy and that is the perfect sentiment on this card. Makes me want to go off and read a book, but I need to make my book card instead.

Flopsey and her book, How to Grow Carrots, look spectacular on Bill's book card! Love this!

This looks fantastic leaving the books uncolored. Great look! So cute showing Flopsey with all the books about rabbits. Love your creative mindset and sense of whimsy on this.
