I have the pleasure of being your hostess this week. Sometimes when creating a card for the challenge I think "what were they thinking?" Well this week, for my own challenge, as I was creating I thought "what was I thinking!?!" I hope the other team members aren't ready to pull their hair out and I hope YOU will be up to this week's challenge!
I chose gingerbread as dessert because it is one of my favorite Christmas themes. I used to own a Tudor style house that I decorated in gingerbread theme at Christmas. I love the little men, the houses, the candy. The more sugar, the better.
I ran with that on this card. I used Versamark ink and Heat 'n Stick powder so I could cover the peppermints and candy canes in glitter. I did the same with the edge of my tag. I tried using Stickles on the men but it wasn't fine enough so I left them alone and just used pearls for the buttons.
I hope you've enjoyed my card today and will join us this week!

Very sweet (literally) card. Candy canes, candy drops and gingerbread men are all things that have only more recently become part of the Christmas trends over here now that the world is smaller - don't eat them but think they are cute decorations

If this card is a sample of how you decorated your Tudor style house, it had to have been a 'show home'! Your card is adorable and beautifully designed as usual. However, you must have a little ornery in you to select these colors for a challenge, bc that's exactly what you did... challenge me! (wink, wink) Thanks for the fun!

What a clever idea to capitalize on the sugar theme with all that glitter! All the goodies look so appetizing, and I love the way you arranged them all!
