Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she really challenged me with her color palette! The colors this week are Real Red, Cinnamon Cider and Purple Posy. The dessert option is gingerbread. Well, OK, that made me happy, as I get to use my ancient and adorable gingerbread boy stamp.
I stamped the little guy with VersaMark ink on Cinnamon Cider cardstock, then white embossed and fussy cut. Did the same with an equally ancient Stampin' Around wheel with little gingerbread men on it. I filled in the hearts with a red marker, then went over them with a VersaMark pen and heat embossed with clear powder.
I got in the Purple Posy color by creating a background panel with an ink smooshing technique on Mixed Media paper. This panel also includes Cinnamon Cider ink.
Die cut the banners and the greeting, popped up the big boy on foam tape and added a few sequins.
I'm excited to see what everyone else does with this challenge! Have fun!

Barbara, this is wonderful! You're little gingerbread men are sweet and isn't it fun to revisit old stamps and make them new. And your background was a wonderful way to incorporate the Purple Posy.
