This is my card for Gracie's Falliday challenge to use glitter. I wish you could see this card in real life, there is a lot of sparkle and dazzle going on here.
First, I watercolored the panel with a mix of blues and then splatter with white metallic watercolor (which doesn't look that great in the photo, much better in real life).
Once that was dry, I heat embossed the three snowflakes and the sentiment using white embossing powder. I was going to re-stamp the snowflakes and attach the glitter that way but decided that, since it was watercolor paper, it would be better to use the two way glue pen. I put glue over the top of the three snowflakes and poured the Dazzling Diamonds glitter over them which gives them beautiful sparkle.
I matted this panel with silver glitter paper and popped that onto a Pacific Point card base to complete the card.
(And I may have chased my youngest daughter around the house with this since she doesn't like glitter. She thinks the card is pretty - but won't touch it!)
Thanks for the fun challenge, Gracie. It was about time I got my Dazzling Diamonds out for a card! And thanks for looking!

This is pretty, Catherine. Those snowflakes look crocheted. I had to chuckle about your daughter...I felt the same way with playdough...the boys only got to use it at their friends! Your glittered bg makes it.

I love this glittery card with the gorgeous watercolored blue background! That is so funny about your youngest daughter...I guess she won't be wearing any glittery or sequined clothing! Thanks for playing along on my challenge and I'm glad I could provide you with an opportunity to torment your daughter! LOL
