I should have known I can't paint in a straight line - I always use a ruler when working but I did know I wanted to use pinks and browns and get a dog in there somewhere. Our most recent experience of tartan / plaid fabric was doggy pants for our Springer Spaniel. Poor love got cancer in her latter years and the chemotherapy tried affected her bladder. We managed her last year with pants changed every hour and a half and vet beds at night. Having made the card I didn't know how to finish it and what message to put on the belly band but the "Gin made me do it" on the front and "There is no situation that cannot be improved with Gin" on the inside seemed perfect for this crazy card. Have a cousin who works in a distillery so she might appreciate it!

I too like your wonky plaid!!! ;) It is FUN sometimes to just PLAY & see what comes of it! AND your SWEET dog! It takes love & dedication to see a pup through something like that! ;)<3

I'm loving your pretty plaid and how cute for your dog. Poor dog, he and the two of you have been through a lot. They are such good friends. Nice fold, too.

I think your plaid looks awesome actually. And I had to laugh at your sentiment. Too fun. As Jean said, we do what we can for our pets. They are part of the family. I am sure your cousin will get a kick out of this.
Oh, my goodness, why didn't I think of a pink and brown plaid pumpkin? I adore your plaid! It's gorgeous. Also, the sentiment made me laugh out loud, so thank you for that! Sweet story and fabulous card!
