Say it ain't so, Angie!!!!!!!!! You better not be gone completely or we'll come find you. I know, life does happen and gets in the way and that's very important. You will be very much missed.
I love washi tape but need to remember to use it more. I went through all of them and pulled ones that might work for today and the rest of Falliday. I also know the MMJ is using washi, need to check that out yet.
This is also for Ann's FF20: ink blending on black. I have to say I didn't feel very successful with this as no matter what I used, I didn't get much color. Maybe because I chose a very busy stamp?I tried Catherine Pooler, DOx, Brilliance metallic and then finally used some chalks. After I embossed, I added more and wiped off the ink from the ep. That seemed to work the best. I'll have to look what inks others used. I think the cards in the gallery look great so there must be way.
I used two washis on the top and bottom, just as they tore off the roll. The gold filigree is older and didn't seem to want to tear very well so I didn't fight it. You'll probably see me again today as I plan to use washi on a lot of Falliday stuff.
Lastly this is for ABC14-F is for fantasy.

That is a gorgeous ornament and I like your Washi tape. I need to get mine out and use it.

Wow! I agree with Ann, this is magical! I think you achieved beautiful ink blending on the black and of course, I love how you used the Washi! So very striking! Nope, I am not gone for good! Just stepping away from hosting this challenge for a time. One never knows what the future holds. I will definitely be playing along with you here as often as time allows and I am still hosting a couple of other daily challenges! Thanks for all your sweet words and thanks for creating along with us this week!

This looks awesome, Jean! Love the colors of gold and gray and silver. Very elegant. Love how you used the washi tape the way it tore on its own off the roll. The thick twine suits this perfectly!
