Hello! I saw Cathy's Tweet Challenge yesterday and it inspired me to take out this cool background that Lydia showed us how to create at her retreat and make it home for this cute little bird.
I used a circle from the new Slimline die set from Picket Fence Studios. I love that the dies can be used on any size card and not simply for a slimline size. Stretching those die dollars!
I am a fan of birds as a card theme so I was excited when this stamp set came out but now there are coordinating dies and that makes me so happy. You should see me trying to fussy cut. It's not pretty.

Gosh, if that's the faux barnboard technique, I have NEVER got mine to look like that, and I've tried so many times with different glues. The little bluebird is just sweet.

The BG is just so interesting. I have been staring at it for several minutes. I may be playing this evening. The bird is lovely and I love the nest tucked inside the hole! Yes. lol Dies do make the cutting much easier!
