I actually learned how to do this watercolor plaid background taking Kristina Werner's latest Simply Watercolor Christmas online class and I love anything plaid so I am making more and more of these. I had fun mixing colors to get this perfect shade of "purple" (to me, it's exactly the shade I wanted that I did not have in my watercolor paints)

Wow!!!! this is striking with your amazing plaid. Isn't it great how you can mix watercolors. The magenta is eye catching. One thing that I'm learning to do better when mixing for a color, is to make enough of a puddle of color. Happy that you joined the challenge and shared your super plaid. Oh yes love the gnome.
