I'm always happy to put a bird on it, as the WT requires this morning. I had made this yesterday for Sonja's sketch challenge part 2-a pocket card. Much fun, again finding out I don't read directions well. How hard should this have been?????? Originally I hadn't put the bird on but he is in the background and I thought he needed to come forward.
I used some of the 4 in 1 collage sheet for this (thanks for that tutorial), stamped both the bird and the tree (which are both in the background) in Versamark and embossed. The card in the pocket has the same collage paper and a greeting from the same set. I thought the little reindeer clip looked cute at the top, not sure if he will remain if I mail this. I used gel pen to color in the tree, not sure if I should do the same with the bird. Forgot that the base is vanilla, I stamped him on white. Oh well.

A lot of interest going on here - I like that you stamped the bird on white. I thought that was designer paper, too, until I read your photo details. I read directions well, IF I read them at all. Sometimes I just assume I do not need to read the directions - very rarely that turns out to be true.

Wonderful job with all of the challenges represented on this beautiful card, Jean! Love how you used the same bird on your collage paper and made him the focal image!

Jean Bean- this Pocket card is delightful! Love the reindeer clothespin. The blue bird of happiness flies her own path on white. All the gold glam tree, ritzy ric-rak and that yummy collage background paper make eye candy to enjoy over and over. Thanks for taking the "double dare" challenge.
