This is my 4th attempt at this and will confirm to all who see it what I was already well aware of . . . I couldn't paint a straight line if my life depended on it! So I'll call this look rustic and homespun.
Painted my plaid and trimmed with a deckle edged rectangle die. I decided the wavy plaid was less harsh if I adhered it at an angle rather than in regimented line with the card base and since I had now decided on "rustic", I tacked it on with bronze brads. Finished with the die cut deer raised with mounting foam.

Oh, I like your rustic plaid. Those colors really pop and the brads look great. No matter the lines aren't straight. I rather like the look you achieved without straight lines. Your card really looks masculine. Thanks for joining us this week at WCW. Oh, and I like the deckled edge.

Your plaid turned out great!!! Love the earthy colors, and the lines are quite straight for doing it with watercolors. The stag is perfect for your plaid. The rustic brads are so right. Glad you did the challenge and brought us this neat card. TFS

What a wonderful plaid - love the colors and the deckled edge - your deer is perfect in front of it! I think the watercolor plaids aren't supposed to be regimentally straight! (they weren't on the video either!)

Haha! It never even occurred to me to try to paint a straight line! I like the wiggle of the handpainted plaid. Always have. I love your rustic and outdoorsy version. Such a cute card!

Those videos sure make it look easier than it is painting those straight lines (just sayin'). I like your results with these wide stripes.

I can't paint a straight line but this looks pretty straight to me! It's fabulous! You are reminding me that I could make some plaid backgrounds for upcoming cards! Fabulous!
