This is for Dina's Falliday challenge to make a card depicting some light source. I really wanted to do a strand of Christmas lights but I don't have stamps or dies for that. Looking through my stamps on Evernote, I decided that the leaf stamp in the Swirly Bird set looked enough like a Christmas light, that I'd make my own strand of lights.
I die cut the circle first. Then, stamped my "light" in the six colors. After that, I doodled in the light string with a microliner pen - adding the black at the top of each "light."
The sentiment is a combination of Warm Words (merry) and Star Bright (bright) with a hand written and in between them. I matted this circle and then added a variety of fun Christmas papers (sponging around the edges) to complete my card.
I'm really happy with how my light strand turned out. Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

So fun that you were able to create what was in your head by using other kinds of stamps. Lovely card!
