Jean is our hostess for the TLC this week, which you can find HERE.
I remember trying this once before, but I feel I had better results this time. Except that I now know that neither the pearl inks nor the mixatives work.
I'll be back after work to fill in the details - but both my cards use Katzelkraft stamps - this one is called toits de Paris (Paris rooftops).
I added the Dream sentiment with the two-tier eclipse technique.
Quick unscientific poll requested by DH. He read it as "dreamy" because he saw the curly tail and assumed it was a y. I said it was obviously "dream". What did you see?
I used gilding flakes all round the edge, opting for glue rather than double-sided tape so that it would be slightly irregular, and added it to a white base.

The flakes around it add a lot, wish I'd thought of that. I probably will only ever dream about going to Paris. Beautiful, perfect background for a dream.

We can all dream of Paris.....maybe once the virus is under control and we are free to travel safely, Sabrina. LOVE your card...everything about it. The gilding flakes as a border is genius.

Love that unusual view of Paris! That's a great background. Think I will put alcohol inks on my Christmas list this year! Been avoiding getting into another medium but cards like this are persuading me otherwise. :-)
