Oh how lovely to see Jane as the Featured Stamper this week. She is so sweet and so is her gallery. So exciting! Congrats, Jane. I hope you totally enjoy your week!
I picked this You Are Loved Card from Jane's gallery to case for both my BAJ page and Card:
I loved the large sentiment, the flower, and the way she did the dp at an angle. So I cut some recently gifted music papers and some old stash dp and angled them on my card and BAJ page. I used different flowers and a different sentiment on my card and went a bit wild on the BAJ page with some water color dribbles.
This is also for the MMJ09 challenge which is Mixed Media creations using tea bags. YOu can use the tea bag anyway you want as long as it mixed media. I took a Tazo Vanilla Bean Macaron tea bag and dried it out, emptied it of tea, stamped the bird and watercolored the bird and ground. Then added all my elements on my BAJ page from Psalm 116 - I love the cup of salvation words in verse 13 and it went well with my tea bag. I only have 2 more blank pages in Psalms! Yay!
My card is off to a friend who lost her Grandmother last week. We have been chatting about how God blesses us with Grandmothers so I wanted it to be more a blessing remembrance than a sympathy card.
Congrats again, Jane!!!

A remembrance card for your friend is a wonderful idea and your Bible journaling is always fabulous. Love the little bird and pot of flowers.

I still talk about my Grandma Meyer. She died in 1985, right before my son was born. I played my flute, along with my sister, at her funeral, even though I could barely breathe. I love your Bible page/card combos. Always so thoughtful.

This is such an amazing collage of beauty! I really need to get to your tea bag challenge! I love this and your bird is fantastic. Such a great and creative case of Jane's card. Another thing on my list...check out Jane's gallery! Will I ever get off my computer? LOL Hugs to you Nancy!

These are wonderful, Nancy! I like the idea of remembering the blessings of having Grandmothers card! The addition to your journal page is so neat! Love that you stamped the bird on an actual teabag! Into my favorites to remember that idea!
Nancy, you always come up with the most creative projects. This is such a different take on Jane's card but yet so similar with the layout. Your friend will be comforted to receive this lovely card.
