For today's silhouette WT (thanks, Lisa, love silhouettes) and Misti's FF buffalo check challenge.
I did my own stair step card, didn't even look at directions, just figured out the dimensions myself. It's a big deal for me, really! I cut the kids out of three colors of cardstock, added some glitter for their snowballs. For the background, I used a piece of flannel from a pair of my pajamas; the pjs have a red trim and the color ran first time I washed them. I wasn't happy, since colors don't really run that much anymore, but saved them just in case. Added a silver tree with some more snowy glitter. Used a couple of washi tapes at the bottom, along with two pre-made deer with buffalo checks. They were attached to a little clothes pin but I pulled them off and glued them on. I thought they worked nicely with the deer on the flannel.

This is fantastic! Love those adorable kids and that you used several colors to create the silhouette. Love all the elements -- but especially those plaid deer and the brrrrrrrr. Super fun card. Great job and congrats on creating your own stair step card.

You made me smile big. I like that PJ story..well not that they were ruined but how you are upcycling them...adds a really nice warm touch to the card. Literally! lol
The "snow" looks great and I like that idea of a triple color cut!
