I got this cute die cut from Pat and thought it would be great for today's challenge and an easy card....well it didn't work out that way...I swiped the bg using DO inks and a credit card (yes, I was inspired by Karen D's card) and that part was fine..the taping and gluing of the die cut and frame was the problem. Parts of this card are still a bit sticky...hope the person who gets it doesn't notice...

I like the extra depth added by having the ends of your silhouetted family overlapping the frame. Those fine lines can be so fiddly to stick, can't they. Those are such Polly colours in the background .

That is a cute die cut and you made a great scene with that wonderful bg. It almost looks like trees in the bg. I like the way you positioned the die cut along and over the frame. Wonderful winter card.
I now glue most all of my die cuts -- chunky and thin. Don't know if this would help you, but one tip I read and use regularly: after applying the glue to the back of the die cut, tap it gently on a piece of scrap paper before adhering to the card. That removes some of the excess so you don't get so much ooze. Good luck.

I'm lovin' that plaid-style credit card swiped background...and of course, the colors are one of my favorite combos! Silhouettes and bell swag are the perfect adds to the background to create a lovely card!
