I made this card for a friend's birthday. I began with the card itself, following the instructions in the tutorial. For the belly band decoration, I used 2 of the dies from the "Labels" set. I stamped the greeting on the smaller yellow one, & glued it to the larger, which I'd cut from one of the papers in the "Olivia Collection" pad.
I used 3 patterns from the "Bloom" pad for the inside panels. The pink check had kind of a weird spot, that looked like clear yellow tape that ended up in the upper right corner. Even though it was part of the pattern, I didn't like it. So I cut 3 small banners from the other patterned papers I'd used and glued them over it. Problem solved!
I double-stamped the bouquet onto bristol paper with Morning Mist ink. I used my Tombow markers & a damp paintbrush to color it. Finally, I die cut it with the coordinating die, & glued it in place. I also added 2 white panels inside the card for my mom & me to write our personal messages. I'm sure our friend will love this card. I love how it looks, and how easy it was to put it together.
