This is for both the Fall Fest challenge (FF20 stampmomma) and today's TLC 819 stencil challenge. For my card creation I got to use my finger loop craft knife I won from My Sweet Petunia for the first time to detail the tree- it made it so much easier! I went with a bold crisscross pattern for my background stenciling, done first with grey then light brown markers using a quilting topstitching stencil which I taped down on my craft board. Used my watercolor pencils and a small punch for my vibrant leaves, and the rays of the sun. Added a simple mini scalloped circle sentiment panel with a watercolor frame, and a twine/brad combo for my embellishment. Upped the happy factor with that bright yellow sun. They are certainly happy bright colours, maybe more what we need to lift our mood. But I have to confess I liked the first version. Best of luck to your DD.
