I was inspired by that beautiful red/black plaid, the plain wooden chairs and the pine boughs.
Betsy Veldman, owner of The Greetery, just posted yesterday a card on the Greetery Blog that I loved - and I pretty much copied here today! I used a different sentiment and stamped it on an oval and used flower sequins instead of snowflakes.
I die cut everything out of white cardstock and inked the various pieces with DOX inks listed below.
I made the plaid background by die cutting a panel of Scarlet Jewel card with the Square Dance Die, then sponging black ink through Square Dance Stencil A over the die cut, and then layering the die cut over a panel of Pure Poppy card.
I added Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter to the pine boughs and to the tops of the mushrooms.
We had 5" of snow yesterday here in MA, when only 'a few snow flakes in the sky' were predicted! It was beautiful and already melting today.

Oh, this is a wow card. I love how you made that plaid background. Pretty mushroom/acorns/pine. The tops of those mushrooms look awesome.

Your plaid is the perfect bg for your cozy weather, Julia. I, too, love the mushrooms. Why do the prettiest ones make for the deadliest? I especially like all the texture of the diecuts!
Isn’t it fun how we often end up being gallery mates though we are on both ends of the country? Stay warm, mf
