For todayâs Ways to Use It Challenge, Jayne challenged us to create something spooky. I chose to create a panel using the ghosting technique. On one panel I sponged on distress oxide inks. After the ink was dry I placed a rose stencil over the panel and spritzed with water. I quickly removed the stencil, allowed the water to stay on for a short time, and then used a paper towel to mop up any remaining water.
The second panel was stamped using the All Things Fabulous stamps along with a tiny floral stamp from Magenta. The sentiment panel consisted of words from Botanical Bliss as well as a tiny flourish stamp from Sweet Impressions. Three gems were added for embellishment.

This is such a beautiful card. The flowers on the right look so transparent....perfect for the ghost technique. The colours you chose are so soft and pretty. Thank you for playing in my challenge and for getting “spooked”. Happy day and hugs

Your watercolour imprint came out really well - that's not a technique I have a lot of success with but I guess I haven't tried it since the advent of DOX inks. I love the matching colours in the other stamped panel.
