For today's Water Color Challenge Brenda shared a video on Easy Watercolor Clouds.
I created a hillside scene with my pine trees reaching up into the bright blue sky full of fluffy white clouds using this simple technique.
I sanded the kraft core paper just beneath the trees and sponged a bit of Vintage Photo over it to give it a bit of depth. I also layered two rows of grass along the bottom of the hillside - the top row up on foam dots, with colorful wild flowers scattered over the grass.
Thanks Brenda for this lovely watercolor challenge! I'm sure I'll be using it again (and get better at it!)

I love your clouds and your little hillside with trees and flowers. Looks like a fine day. Good work with the challenge and glad you played with us. I'm quite sure I will use this technique again, too.
