For me I have found so much peace and calm in my Garden. Back in January this year in the middle of the terrible drought and bush fires we were experiencing we had what can only be called the hail storm from Hell. Hail stones the size of lemons. The garden was totally stripped bare and so much damage done to everything. Since the beginning of Spring I have spent so much time outside working - trimming and cleaning up all the plants and shrubs and planting out pansies. After the drought and hail storms and the rain we have had over the past few months the whole garden has decided to sprout and bloom again. Everything seems to have grown so much and is making such an effort to recover - making my garden a special place to retreat to and enjoy.
I eventually found my mojo this morning and have tied it to the dining room table. I stamped and coloured this image a couple of weeks ago and it is good to use it for this Tea Party. I embossed the image and coloured it with water colour pencils and added some glitter glue and a wink of stella to the flowers. It is actually framed with a dark green frame - not black as the image looks.
Wish you could all join me in my garden to enjoy the peace and calm.

Wow! This is beautiful! I love the colors and I really love the sentiment. When we take hikes we often see flowers and trees growing in the most unlikely places!

Stunning card Helen and so good to see you back in the gallery...missed you. I bet your garden is starting to look beautiful. It's warming up over here. I'm about to get messy in my play room. My mojo has flown the coop recently but I think it may be returning, even if just in my head LOL. Keep safe and well my mate over East. TFS Happy day and hugs

A most beautiful garden! Love the summer to autumn colours perfectly drawn out by your choice of frames. A beautiful garden is a wonderful place to retreat to and I'm glad to hear your garden is rebounding after the stresses. May it be so for all of us.

LOL at tying your mojo to the table. It's lovely to see you, I was just thinking of you the other day. Work leaves me more tired than it used to and I find it hard to keep up with everything was much as I'd like. I remember your hailstorm, and it's lovely to hear that your garden is being renewed and restored. Beautiful stamp and colouring, great sentiment.

Your card is beautiful. Love the color scheme and especially the sentiment. Nature is such a beautiful reminder that even in the what appears to be devastation (like a forest fire) we will recover and sprout and grown again (like new trees and grasses after the flames are gone). Your adversity and hard work appear to be growing new and beautiful blooms in your backyard. Your garden sounds wonderful and I wish I could be there to enjoy it too. Hugs and stay safe.
