It is my pleasure to be your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. I have picked Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Terracotta Tile and Mossy Meadow, with the dessert option to make a card for Thanksgiving. I'm giving myself credit for dessert, since my little bear is sending warm & cozy (Thanksgiving) wishes!
I used my gel plate and the Distress Oxide inks to make patterned paper for the trees and mushrooms. They're not exactly how I envisioned the colors, but that's what you get with a gel plate! Bit by bit I'm learning how to better control the results! I did a lot of fussy cutting, and colored the bear, tree stump and pie with Zig Markers.
For the background, I blended the four Distress Oxide colors to simulate grass and an autumn sky. Popped it on a Pumpkin Pie base card, and used foam tape behind the bear and the pie.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week! I hope you find these colors inspire you to make a card with us!

Super cute! Love the waving bear in his colorful sweater. The pie on the tree stump gives a Thanksgiving feel to your fun autumn scene. Great colors this week!
