I wanted to do a beach card that was not the typical palm tree and I am combining my Alpha challenge with the color challenge over at CAS Colors and Sketches. My beach is on the lake and I see this scene quite often. We have egrets and herons that come and stand on the beach at the end of the cove. So I have my heron (after all he is blue) standing in front of a blue moon. The ripples in the sand are made with ink sponged behind the waves die cut from Swirly Scribbles .

I really like it. Beaches in our area, when not snow covered, would be more like this. I wouldn't have thought of using the round shape to anchor your scene.
