I am not a sun worshiper, because my skin is so fair, I burn easily. Hence, I also don't have much in my stamp arsenal having to do with the beach. But I managed to find something.
I scribbled watercolor crayons (blue on top and brown on bottom) on the embossed watercolor paper, and then painted over them with gesso. I thought it was too plain, so I pulled out some inky paper towel and pieced it all over the bottom. Then I brushed a watered down gesso over that. I added a piece of the stretchy netting that comes wrapped around meat (It's been washed well!), and popped up the sand dollar. I couldn't find the sentiment that I wanted to use, so I decided this one would work.

Oh my Melody...this is absolutely awesome and fav’d. I love that you used the netting off the meat..cool. So much texture. Thanks for playing with us all on MMJ. Great beach card. I had to Google sand dollars yesterday. We call them shells or sea urchin shells lol. I also saw some people here also call them sand dollars but we’ve never heard of the term. I have some in a bowl of seashells in my sitting room. TFS. Happy day

What a gorgeous sand dollar. I kept staring at the netting trying to figure out what it was, obviously I don't encounter that kind of netting! It looks great on your card, love the recycling.
