I'm combining the current sketch with Sabrina's Ways to Use it Challenge where we are celebrating the humble lightbulb. The only bulb image I have is a Christmas light, so the die was already cast when I started the card. I ended up usiing stamps from three different sets -- a pine bough from one, the lightbulb from a second, and the sentiment from a third. Since I had a ribbon with a Christmas light pattern, that dictated the colors -- so it ended up being an untraditional Christmas card. I used a fine-line pen to create the "cord" on the Christms lights and mimic the look of the cord on the ribbon.

Christmas lights are perfect - they are one of the things I love about Christmas. Maybe not so much the people who go mad with them, but it's hard to have too many. I just can't arrange them nicely on the tree. You had the perfect ribbon to match, too - cool!!

Terrific use of the sketch. Love the Christmas lights for the light bulb challenge. The ribbon is cute. Your card is so joyful with the bright colors. Well done!
