I cut a piece of kraft cardstock to 5-1/4x4". I used a few images from "Vintage Christmas Post" to stamp the background with Yeti pigment ink. Then I set that aside to dry.
I die cut the "Poinsettia Border" from both white cardstock & blue glitter paper. I used liquid glue to adhere the white outline, then glued in the blue petals for a die cut inlay effect. I made sure not to press the outline down firmly at first, before I got the petals in place, since the die cut got a little distorted when I took it from the die. When everything lined up, I pressed it all down.
I die cut the "Christmas Blessings" from the same glitter paper, then glued it to my panel above the border. In hindsight, I wish I would have backed it with fun foam or added a second (white) offset die cut, just to make it stand out more. But, the glue set before I thought of that, so I created a faux shadow layer by outlining the letters with a white gel pen. I think it helped. I ended up trimming about 1/8" off each side of my kraft panel. Finally, I adhered my panel to a white card base.
