I had this background on my work table - an unsuccessful attempt to ink my Tall Pines Embossing folder with Black Brushos, spritz with water and then emboss a piece of white card stock.
Unsuccessful for a clean impression - but perfect, I realized, for a spooky Halloween background!! Luckily, I hadn't tossed it and it was waiting for me to find an inspired use for it!
I punched a white moon, layered a purple glittery bat over it, added two sparkly skeleton stickers and a stamped and die cut gravestone!

Oh, how fun that your embossed background could be saved and is absolutely perfect for your Halloween creation! This is spooktacular! I love the skeleton in the pine!

How fun to have a background ready and waiting to be used for this fun card! Love your glittery bat!
