I made this card for the Ways to Use it Challenge hosted by Cathy for Oct. 8: using "Shadow Stamping with Stencils." This card is also for Misti Monday's October challenge: "Mail that card".
I loved this technique. It was so easy and my background turned out looking so cool. It looks 3 dimensional to me. Thanks for a great challenge Cathy!
I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils, then I fussy cut it out, adding crystal lacquer to the Wizard of Oz globe and glitter to her shoes.
I made my background with a stencil, white ink and orange using the Shadow technique on black cs.
I stamped a spider web and then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment "Eat, drink and be Scary" in red using my Misti to position it on the web. I cut the sentiment out with a Spellbinders die and added red glitter around the edges and sponged edges with black ink.
I layered my background panel onto glitter green and black. I used 3D pop dots to pop up my image and sentiment.
