So, Kia gave us a WONDERFUL VIDEO with the how too's.... I decided to try my hand at this following a book I have, (It was easier for me, than to have to move my computer to my work table---) same theme to let the sun shine through.... I just changed the leaves on the trees to fall for our challenge. (The book I used is: The Complete Water Colorists Essential Notebook by: Gordan Mackenzie. He called this "Backlit Forest Meadow.") I SO ENJOYED THIS!!!
HOPE YOU LIKE!!!!

Wow! Your trees and leaves are just awesome for a Fall creation. I would love to walk through that forest with all the beautiful color. Great work with freehand painting. Love how you have the sun shining brightly through the trees. Thanks for joining us this week.

Wow, Becky! The leaves and grass are amazing! I wish you had a video showing how you did this. Love it and can just imagine walking here (with lots of bug spray of course). So well done. Hugz

I was waiting for your card to come on board for the challenge. You did not disappoint. Thanks for sharing the book you used for inspiration. You really captured the technique of the glowing sun on those beautiful autumn woods. Isn't it fun to create something freehand. Thanks for sharing with us this beauty. The sentiment is so true. Right now we are at the peak of color, and I'm trying to enjoy all of it, because we know what's coming. Hugs
