This card (or maybe it's me) has problems..it's totally a case of can't see the forest for the trees. I'm working away putting all those teeny tiny leaves on there, arranging the pumpkins, etc. Then I see it..wonderful looking door to nowhere. No house (or else it's a very, very narrow house, lol). This so reminds me of a trip my sis & I made to NC. On the way back, we saw a nice little house w/ a carport. The carport had a garage door. I still can't figure that one out. It was still open on the other 3 sides. I guess that's why this card is similar to that carport.
The other thing is I don't have any of today's colors so I got as close as I could. Since I blended the coral color onto the yellow leaves it looks more orange than anything. All I can say about that Crushed Curry color is gee..I thought the Starfruit color was hideous & turns out curry makes it look a little better. So there's that in the sort of plus column.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & product links: The Write Stuff

I enjoyed reading your description! LOL I really like your rake with all the leaves entangled in the tines. This is such a cute card, Julie!

Had to smile at your story. It really could be a she shed. You amaze me with all those tiny, tiny die cuts. It really is a cute scene...love the rake and leaves. TFS

I enjoyed the read about the carport, lol! And your card isn't like the carport, silly girl! You definitely have over analyzed, we often are our own worst credits. It looks marvelous and the colors are perfect! Thanks for the chuckle and the wonderful inspiration!

Julie, I wouldn’t even have noticed the no house until you mentioned it! But no matter, this card is fantastic. I love all those die cut leaves and that wreath! And as for your assessment of the Crushed Curry color - that cracks me up. Good thing we don’t all have the same taste in colors. I know there are a few colors that I was happy to see retired! (And ones that I wish would retire...). Great card and story!

Beautiful scene. Love the tiny leaves and the wreath made from them. Great job with the challenge colors. I admired your creation and all the fabulous details; and I never caught on to the door going nowhere. Maybe the recipient won't either. It is just so beautiful. Loved it!
