It's a new month of color challenges and I get to lead off the month! I hope you will join us!
The colors are Calypso Coral, Cinnamon Cider and Crushed Curry with your favorite green for dessert. Mine is Old Olive (at least this week it's Old Olive!) I used a blender pen and the markers on acrylic blocks to "watercolor" my image. I just love how the birds turned out. I did add some neutrals to add shading and a bit of color (Merry Merlot) to the leaves, after all it is fall. Then I realized that a fall tree would not have flowers so I stopped!
I did cheat and use my Scan 'n Cut to cut out the images - I'm not one for that much fussy cutting.

this is so pretty Jeanne - I love the little birdie images- your card layout looks great with the angled panel and embossed card base - great colors this week.

Don't we just love our Scan 'n Cuts?!?! What a lovely card you created, Jeanne! The birds look so sweet against the angled panel, and the textured base is perfectly subtle. Artistic license says if you want your fall tree to have flowers, it can have flowers!

Beautifully done! Superb watercoloring with the challenge colors. The little birds are so sweet. The embossed background adds wonderful texture. Love the hello tag. Great card!
