First of all, I meant to put "SEW" happy on the card instead of "SO" happy. I cut the words out of black vinyl on the Cricut. I cut a bunch of 1/2" squares because I couldn't figure out how many I needed. Math is not one of my best subjects. I cut the strips 3/8" wide by 6 or 4.25", depending on whether is was going up or across. Attached 4 of the 1/2" squares into a square, then laid down the strip and only attached as far as the squares went. Just in case I went crooked with adhering the strip. I did use a ruler but that doesn't always mean anything on my projects. I continued doing that down and across the card. On the last row I had to go to 6 squares and make a rectangle but I had to cut about 1/8" off the last squares in the downward row. Then I used a 2" and a 2.5" circle punch to cut my stamping areas. I used my MISTI and Oxide ink. Then I sprayed the stamped piece with water and allowed to dry. Then I decided to do faux stitching, and it went crooked. Focusing is not another good subject of mine. It's too bad there aren't seam rippers for faux stitching. Well, it looks authentic. I used a big jar of Modge Podge and traced the edge to cut the corner. Then I cut the sentiment from vinyl, as I already mentioned above, and adhered to the card. On the inside it says " You're my sister". I lined the envelope, addressed and stamped it and it's ready to go to my sister. TFL!

I can't count how much love went into this intricate, well thought out, creative card for your sister. I am certain it will be something she treasures forever. I love the vintage sewing machine and the hand drawn stitches that "embroider" the circles. This has taken my breath away.
