I had the strip of woodgrain patterned paper with the banner left over from another card. I didn't want it to go to waste, and the B side of the paper was useless for me. So I went through my SCS sketches, and found one that would accommodate that size of strip. I knew I wanted to make this a celebratory card, because of the banner, so I pulled out my as-yet-unused "Party Koala" set. I used the present from "Birthday Before 'n Afters" for the center panel.
I stamped my images onto scraps of vellum bristol paper with Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the hat for each koala first, then masked and stamped the koalas. I used my colored pencils to color all the images, and added eyelashes to the "girl" koala with a fine-tip black pen.
I stamped the greeting, which was actually not included with "Party Koala," in Coral Crush & Blu Raspberry inks. (Both the greeting stamp & "Party Koala" were freebies for placing an order with Lawn Fawn during my birthday month earlier this year.)
I matted my panels onto green cardstock cut to 5-1/4x4", and adhered that to a burnt-orange cardstock. Finally, I mounted that to a white card base.

So cute! Terrific use of the sketch. Love how you used the koala bears. I also received these stamps this year. I like the banners and the fun, bright colors. Great card!
