I made this background several weeks ago. I smashed some distress oxide ink on a piece of acetate and sprayed it with water. Then I laid my cardstock base over the top and allowed it to dry.
When Lisa called for the "How Will I Use This" challenge. I knew that I had two cute clothing tags leftover from my daughter's school shopping trip earlier this year. I went with this tag...it's actually the back of the tag because of the laundry symbols which I could only guess at before.
I think this card, while simple, is suitable for framing and hanging in my laundry room.
I found a great MFT sentiment that adds a bit of encouragement for the dull task!
Thanks for looking!

What a creative and an adorable use of the clothing tag, Toni! Love that background...which reminds me of a soiled garment...and the sentiment which finishes the card perfectly!

Your smooshed background is just fantastic with that laundry tag, Toni - very clever thinking. I wish that it did all come out in the wash, alas some things don't. I agree on the laundry symbols not necessarily being intuitive. I have a fridge magnet with them on it.
