I don't do a lot of Halloween and I couldn't find what I wanted to use for my pumpkins, darn it. But I did have to make some Halloween cards for my two granddaughters, Clare and Mirren.
The background strip was made with a background stamp and a rainbow of Distress inks. I know I did this background after watching a video but I can't remember whose it was. I did a bunch of backgrounds for my stash, warm colors and cool colors. The jack o lanterns (watercolor paper) are from Joggles, I think they actually came out at Valentine's Day a few years ago, for people who don't celebrate that holiday (like me). Kind of the anti-Valentine. I thought they'd be cute for my girlie whirlies. Sprayed them with yellow and red, stenciled the stars in the gold glitter paint. I like that you can see through them to that background. I followed last week's sketch because I thought it would make a good CAS card. Added a few little tidbits like the candy corn brad and a heart sticker. I stamped the bottom circle in the picked raspberry and monarch orange to get a sort of orangy pink.

Perfect Halloween cards for your Granddaughters - super cool layers, fun pumpkins, and a bit of Grandma love (probably lots of it). Great card, Jean. Hugz
