This card is for this week's Teapot Party. I just couldn't get this family out of my head and after attempting yesterday to make a card with my new fun Paper Rose stamp set for them that didn't come out right, I decided to give it another go and use a different approach.
Phew, I'm happy with this one. These guys are lining up for a camera shot and saying cheese...or cheers as we aussies say. Some Aussie animals are looking on....a kangaroo, koala, cockatoo and kookaburra...all from a Hero Arts kit that came out at the beginning of the year. I love the stencil in the kit and have used it a lot. It's perfect to get an Aussie BG quickly.
The panel was all clear embossed afterwards to give it shine, then I thought these little critters need some sparkle so added liquid pearls and stickles.
I was just about to add my sentiment in the middle of my card when I remembered the challenge said to add a corner, so here is my take on that.
This will wing its way to this family with some Aussie stash for the little ones and lots of hugs. I hope that it brings a smile to their faces.
TFL. Happy day

It would be impossible to look at this and not smile. Jayne your Aussie creatures are fabulous, and meerkats should be considered Australian as they are so laid back and don't take things too seriously......as long as you don't say, hello possum LOL. Thanks for bringing this fun card and stash goodies to the teaparty.

Delightful - this will certainly bring smiles. I can see the Stickles on the zebra, I think, and I love the pearl dots on that giraffe. What fun stamps.
