Hi, everyone! Using this week's Sketch Challenge, I created a fun card which will go into my birthday stash. For my card, I began by creating a Wrinkle Free Distress background using mustard and cocoa inks; once dry, the panel was cut out with the largest die from the Pierced Rectangles Dies. The Quilted Honeycomb Background Die was used with mustard cardstock, then a portion of it was trimmed by hand for the center of the card. The rectangle in the center was cut with the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, using the Die-Resizing Technique to make it taller. The Honeycomb Mini stamp (retired) was used on the center panel. The bees and sentiment are from the 'Bee-Lieve' Stamp/Die Duos set. Other dies used: Double Stitched Circles, Circles, Matting Rectangle, and the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer. Linen thread was added at the top and a glitter pen highlighted the bee wings. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

The quilted honeycomb die is the perfect backdrop for these sweet honey bees.
