By coincidence both the Ways to Use It and Free for All challenges feature blue cards this week. When I embossed my background for this card I accidentally transferred some ink from the embossing folder onto my white CS. I was going to discard it but thought I'd better clean it off and repeatedly embossed the CS to get rid of the spurious ink. I liked the effect so instead of throwing it away I used it. This is only my second Christmas card so I'd better get going!

What a great design and the pretty embossing. That gold sentiment pops out so beautifully!

Beautifully done. Love the double embossed background. Terrific effect. I like how you created a shadow with the second, darker die-cut. The textured paper is a nice touch. Wonderful CAS design.

I like the flurry effect from the repeat embossing, it works well with the snow. And I like the purple shadow layer.
I counted my cards yesterday - I have a goal of four a month and I counted 25, which isn't bad considering the year we've had, but I need to get my skates on.
