You guys! I made my own digi! It was so fun! Thanks for the challenge MariLynn! I've never heard of Ed Emberley before, although I recognize one of his books as one that Raleigh's Pre-K class liked to read. I enjoyed browsing the blog that MariLynn linked for us and I really liked this singer. I thought it would be fun to draw a whole choir. But I drew them on my phone in the Procreate App. I drew the singer five times (OK six, but I threw out the first one). And I tried to make him all different shapes--tall and skinny or short and fat. Then I found this free online photo editor to make a transparent PNG file. I overlapped them all in Paint and cleaned them up a bit and saved it as my very first and very own digi! So I printed them out on cardstock and then on copy paper for a mask. I sponged the blue background for today's Free for All Challenge. I stamped a musical background and colored the singers with Copics. I had a ton of fun today. Maybe I'll make more of my own digis again someday.

Wow, this is adorable. You cleverly used it for both challenges, and thanks for the photo editing site. I will be exploring that one. I love this place where I learn so much!!

What an awesome job. You took your drawing to a whole new level. I love your choir. I am going to have to copy you and make a choir myself. Thanks so much for playing with my challenge. Blessings!

I have NO doubt, Jen, there is more creativity coming from you and digital art! I immediately knew you’d captured MariLynn’s challenge with the choir, a wonderful combining of prompts. And I read your whole description of how this came to be...love it...count ME ole skool though, I have to ‘Feel’ it!
The metallic mat perfect frame.

You rock! I love this first digi you created -- it's perfect for your card and the sentiment. And I love that you so often use bright happy colors like this card. I am so impressed. Looking forward to your new digi collection soon to be available through????

Great work, Jen. We actually have a graphic tablet, but I was never able to achieve much with it. The exuberance in this (and maybe subliminally the colour) makes me think of the choir scene in The Blues Brothers.
