This was my favorite Watercolor Wednesday Challenge yet! What a neat technique! It was fun and easy. A little bit impatient because I don't like waiting for things to dry, but I had my sketch challenge card to work on between layers. I chose this fun Unity background stamp to use and I'm going to bore you with a list of the colors I used here in case I want to remember in the future: Kingfisher, Seafoam, Teal, Orchid, Chestnut. I used my Spectrum Aqua markers because I still don't think I want to actually get watercolors. It was so fun watching the background change with each layer of color, and I love the depth of the color. I might even do this technique again someday!

Jen, such cool cards and I like those colors. I think yours was easier than mine but I was doing something really busy which made it a little more difficult trying to figure what was underneath and on top. Great card and so glad you had fun.

Happy that you enjoyed this technique. Using the markers is a great idea. I too like how water coloring changes as you put more layers of color. Great card with this stamp. TFS
