It's time again for a new Color Throwdown challenge. I love these earthy colors chosen by our host for the week - Amy Rysavy - which were so perfect to highlight this new bird die and greenery from Ink to Paper's September release! I had this card base prepared many months ago by layering a number of Pierced Feature Frame dies (Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink) overlapping each other to create a geometric tone on tone textured look. I cut out all of the bird die parts from white cardstock, then color blended them with brushes. The evergreen boughs were stamped then sponged with two shades of green ink. In hind sight,

Love that background for this pretty card, and love the popping colors for the bird!
