I applied the Distress Oxide inks to my non-stick craft mat, spritzed each with water, and dipped my photo paper into the puddles/drops. After each go-around of that, I dried the ink with my heat tool. After I'd covered the panel with as much color as I wanted, I used a wet baby wipe to wipe the surface of the paper. This magically takes away the chalky finish, and reveals all the bold colors.
I hated the background as it was (full A2 size). It was just too much crazy color. So I decided to take a cue from Jennifer McGuire & cut it down. I nested all 4 frame dies to cut from the panel, giving me smaller bits of the background that I could use on up to 5 cards (counting the center of the smallest frame as die cut #5).
I die cut the "hi" from dark green cardstock that I'd backed with Stick It adhesive. I also die cut a navy frame by using the largest "Large Stitched Rectangle" die with the next smallest die nested inside. I die cut another panel of light blue cardstock with the smaller rectangle die. I glued my colorful frame to that panel, adhered my greeting, and mounted the panel & navy frame to a white card base.
